Description:
Make sure containers are clean and free from contaminating items. This means that proper source separation must be practiced on a continual basis.
Challenge:
It is difficult to ensure that all cast and crew put the right items in the correct containers. Paper training, communication and regular feedback can be challenging. Assigning someone to be accountable for these activities is considered a best practice. See Environmental Steward for more information.
Outcome:
An efficient, effective waste diversion program can help reduce costs by diverting waste from landfill. Check with your hauler to confirm process.
