Description:
Make it easy for the production office and the department keys to contact the Waste Hauler in case they have questions or schedule special pick up of specific items.
Challenge:
The biggest challenge is to fight the allure of convenience (i.e. throwing something away because you don't know how to recycle it). This is where communication comes in handy, and to have someone monitor the waste recepticles.
Outcome:
An efficient, effective waste diversion program can help reduce costs by diverting waste from landfill and to avoid hazardous materials from entering the natural environment. Check with your hauler to confirm process.
